2018 Family Abseil Challenge

Helping us ignite the potential of children

Abseiling is a thrilling, adrenaline-fuelled experience which will see you make a controlled descent of Ramada Encore (there are 7 floors!). You will need an adventurous spirit and a head for heights and we will do the rest with professional equipment and on-the-day training.

Conquer your fears, enjoy a spectacular view and help support free festival activity in 2019.

Why we need you…
The money raised from this event will help enable The Spark Arts for Children to continue to create unforgettable arts experiences for children aged 0 – 13 in Leicestershire. Gaining access to the Arts is hugely valuable to a child's wellbeing and is crucial for imagination, self-expression and creativity. Our work offers children the opportunity to discover and enjoy the arts as audiences, as learners and as creators of their own art.

Up for the challenge?

I need to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. All donations can be made by your own linked Just Giving page.

Other info…
This year for the first time the event is open to children and young people aged 10 and over. We have a limited number of places for children aged 10-12 and for young people aged 13-15.

Runs between 9.30am-4pm (you will be able to request a time slot)
On the day you will be given a 30 minute time slot during which your descent will take place, please arrive 30 minutes prior to this to register and be kitted up. You will need to sign in at the registration point in the hotel foyer.
