Story
Thank you for supporting me as I try to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.
In 2011 my beautiful daughter Emily died at just aged 13 from a brain tumour. In the weeks prior to her death Emily was cared for a Childrens Hospice South West's Charlton Farm Hospice in Bristol.
Emily received wonderful care at Charlton Farm. Nothing was too much trouble, visits out were arranged, the team organised for numerous animals from local zoo's and parks to be brought to the hospice for Emily to see. A visit from a beautician was even arranged so that Emily could have her ears pierced.
As a family we were all cared for so well at this difficult time enabling us to make the most of the short time we had left with Emily.
I am going to cycle over 200 miles in 3 days visiting each of the Children's Hospice South West Hospices, starting in Bristol and finishing in St Austell in Cornwall to raised money for this wonderful charity and hope you will give generously to this wonderful cause.
