Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
#ChallengeGB official start date was Saturday 5th February 2022 unfortunately this has now been delayed due to injury but will recommence soon using a bike.
This challenge will be using the hashtag #ChallengeGB on all social media and is to raise awareness and funding for The Arctic One Foundation. The challenge is to now cycle 6000+ miles solo and unassisted as an amputee pulling a mini teardrop built by the English Caravan company who originally built the pulk seen in earlier pictures . This will be carrying all my equipment that I will need during the challenge around the coastline of Great Britain. Every pound raised will go directly to the Charity and forms part of the Forward Motion Grant scheme. Please visit www.arctic one.co.uk for further information on the scheme and what the charity does. In addition to this up to £10,000 of the money raised will be used for the provision of a sports prosthesis for one or more recipients if I reach the minimum target. I hope to raise a minimum of £50,000 + so with your kind help the more money that is raised will help more people to access the scheme. Thank you in advance for your kindness in making a donation and supporting the challenge and for sharing my page with your friends and family. Remember gift aid plays an important part of giving to charity so please allow this in your donation if you can. Thank you!
