As a result of a difficult time Lyndon experienced
back in 2019 a couple of us decided we should try and do more things together
which ended up in us booking do this Barmy to Barcelona drive for Charity.

At the time we hoped to take the plunge in 2020 but as
we all found out that wasn't the year to spend with our friends and family having to adjust and see everyone through a camera or leave things on their doorsteps so naturally this was canceled.  Due to the ongoing nature of Covid, we also delayed the tour in 2021 which brings us bang up to date and into 2022.

What started in disbelief turned into excitement, slightly bonkers ideas and a band of merry people pulling together to take a £300 car and turn it into something it wasn't meant for anymore, to be driven
on the road...

Our lovely vehicle has already done 235,000 miles on the clock, part of the rules where to spend no more than £300 to start with so
we managed to stick within budget...let’s just not talk about all the changes and parts...yeah no let’s forget the list of problems on that part and move on shall we? 

We are Team Awesome, because you know "everything
is cool when your part of a team" Simon, Max, Dave and Lyndon plan to get this BMW 5 series over to Europe, start from Northern France in Lille and work our way through 7 countries and end up in Barcelona!  We have 3 challenges each day, each with different difficulties attached and the idea is to score as many points as we can, have a lot of fun and see some of the world together...and of course raise a few pennies for a good cause too : )

won't break down and see ourselves through to the finish line.
