Southern Area Hospice Services care for patients and their families living primarily in the Southern Trust area, offering specialist palliative and end of life care. The main aim of the hospice is to help patients who have received a palliative diagnosis live well with their condition.

Story

As most of you know the Southern Area Trust Hospice Services are a charity close to my heart. St John's house in Newry is somewhere we all hope we never have to spend time in but for so many it's the reality every day. The care, reassurance and guidance being provided by each and every member of staff towards my family back in January of this year was next to none and made a very difficult situation close to manageable.

This will be my second attempt at running 100 mile, collapsing 16 hours in at 66 mile on attempt 1 earlier this year so it's not a challenge I'm taking lightly.

Any help, sponsorship or donation will go a long way for this charity who deserve all the help and support they can get.

Thanks for taking the time to read, and thanks in advance for any support, by whatever means.
