Story
This year I couldn't decide on any single event that I wanted to do for charity, so instead I chose two.
Stage 1 Complete: Cycled a total distance of 1,345 miles from Milton Keynes to Madrid in August. Got lost lots, climbed 4,000 feet over the Pyrenees, crashed twice and repaired a lot of punctures!
Stage 2: Pick my knackered body up off the floor, train as hard as I can after finishing the cycle and run the Amsterdam Marathon in October.
I'll be doing all of this in aid of Cancer Research UK, the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.
Cancer Research are fighting cancer on all fronts, finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it to save more lives. They are entirely funded by the public so please sponsor me for one or both of these events and help them to ensure more people beat cancer.
Please donate now and give whatever you can! Hopefully it will all add up to something worthwhile! Your help is greatly appreciated!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
