Mark's 'Movember' Expedition

The story
Just six months after being diagnosed myself with a 'male only' cancer, my mum was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. In spite of some early positive signs, it was to take her from us in February 2007.
The MacMillan Nurses cared for mum in a way I would not have thought possible from 'strangers'. These individuals display levels of humanity, humility and love that is remarkeable and the nurses became part of the family during our battle.
Although MacMillan is a national charity, the frontline are local and relevant people that truly care - this is a charity worthy of our support.
The Task
I'm not really one for throwing myself off of structures, or cycling from John o'Groats to Marseille (although I have a great respect for those that do). Movember is a growing tradition and I am more than happy to throw myself on that bandwagon. You may think to yourself, well that's no challenge. Trust me, having a lump of fur on my top lip is really not something I care to have. I have a number of social events planned during November, including my 10 year anniversary dinner at Orange, an Inspiral Carpets DJ'ing at a club, and a wedding on the 27th! Simple embarrassment should convince you to dig deep and support my chosen charity.
I thank you sincerely for your support and generosity.
