I was recently inspired by my sister, who competed in the Reading half marathon, to do a charity event, and this event ticks all the boxes for me.

The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s number one heart charity.

Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer but they are leading the fight against it. Thier research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.

Their work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments that are helping to change the face of the UK’s fight against diesease.

More people survive a heart attack or cardiac arrest than ever before, and that means more people are now living with heart disease and need our help. 

Today, they are funding thousands of research projects around the UK that are fighting heart disease. Any donations to this great charity would be greatly appreciated.
