Silver Anniversary 25th Consecutive L2B Ride 2019

Thanks for visiting my L2B 2019 JustGiving page, to support the British Heart Foundation for the amazing work that they do in their research into the causes of heart disease, and their promotional work to maintain healthy hearts and to assist with the 'Staying Alive' of so many heart attack victims.

My first L2B ride was in 1995, and I enjoyed the experience so much that I made a promise to myself to try and complete 25 years without a break - so here I am in 2019 - on the same bike that I bought second-hand for £30 all those years ago!  And the same helmet! And the same rider, just 25 years older!

Thanks very much to everyone who supported me on L2B 2018 - to raise another amazing total of £1,024.00.

The BHF has helped to halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but sadly every day hundreds of people still lose their lives - it is only thanks to support from people like you that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound matters so please give what you can to help me hit my target again this year.
