As some of you know I'm slightly unfit... however that's largely my own choice.

There are however plenty of people with illnesses that are beyond their control, one of the nastiest of these is cancer.

The Marie Curie Cancer care provide nurses that give care to terminally ill patients in their own homes or in hospices, as well as offering support to their families.

I'm planning to cycle from London to Paris, the 300 miles will get me a little fitter and more importantly, with your support, this fabulous charity a nice big cheque!
