Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

In 2016 I was planning to do the Brecon Ultra Marathon
which takes place in the Beacons in November. My chosen charity was Marie Curie or more specifically the charity’s Cardiff and Vale Hospice in Penarth
Sadly, I had to pull out during the week running up to the event due to and Achilles problem and a chest infection, as I was advised strongly not to do it.
A number of people had very kindly contributed to this Just Giving page to support me and that money (£1456.40) will still go directly to Marie Curie.
My plan this year, all being well, is to take part in Ironman Wales in Tenby in September.

I am doing this for 3 charities this time:

1: Marie Curie (Penarth). 2: Bloodwise 3: Believe.

Anything that is raised from now on will be split 3 ways through these linked pages.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you can contribute, any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated, if not then please RT or share on any social media platforms.
