Story

After years of a sloth like existence I have decided to drag myself off the sofa and do some exercise again. Those of you that know me well will have seen me pile on the stones over the years so I hope you appreciate that the training for the Hastings Half Marathon 2011 has been far from a stroll in the park.

A well as losing a pound or two I am hoping to raise some money for MS research, a charity which is close to my heart as my Mum has suffered from MS for 25 years.

MS is a really nasty disease which can have a devastating effect on those with the disease as well as their family and friends. The work done by MS Research makes a real difference to the life of sufferers and it is working towards the long term aim of a cure, something that is so mindblowingly important it is hard to put into words!

Times are hard for all of us but in particular charities are finding hard to raise the money needed to continue thier work. Please dig deep donate what you can.

Thank you!
