Story

Three fearless middle aged men and one aspiring middle aged man have chosen to take on the challenge of running 26.2 miles for a worthy cause and better yet we are willing to put ourselves through the ordeal with never having run this distance before!

Your support is gratefully received and any donation will go a long way for our chosen charity.

Every four hours in the UK someone sustains a serious spinal injury which can drastically change their lives. It means a lifetime of health and care costs as well as an increased threat of secondary health implications.

Spinal Research is leading the charge against beating paralysis and provide valuable assistance to those affected.

With your help we can #BeatParalysis

Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Every year 1,000 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed following an injury to their spinal cord. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on the support of the public to raise funds for our research. Because of the efforts of our supporters, we have funded innovative medical research that has achieved a number of ground breaking changes in the field.
