On July 27th and 28th, team "I can see the pub from here" (Karl, Mark, Mark and Matthew) will be taking part in Oxfam Trailwalker - a 100km walk over the South Downs"

Like most great plans - this one was hatched in a pub! After all it is only a walk - how hard can it be?

Not to be totally unprepared we decided to do a few little walks. (thanks to Mark B - we had a nice walk on the A23! Mark K's routes always seem to have a pub in them!) So far we have walked a couple of 15 milers and a couple of 20 milers. At the end of each walk there is always a quiet moment when we all realise that the real thing is going to be very hard or near impossible!! Our feet hurt after only quarter of the distance!

Ah well - we are doing this for a great charity (Oxfam) and one or two of us may even lose a pound or two and untold number of toe nails!
