Story
On Sunday 17 September, I will be taking part in the Skyline “Do it for Charity”, 54 mile cycle ride from London to Brighton. After leaving Clapham Common, the course will take us along country lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before we take on the challenge of Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs that was part of the Tour de France in 1994. Assuming I make it up the hill(!), it's then all downhill to the Brighton sea front.
The money I raise will go towards the work of The Garden Route Children's Trust (www.grct.org.uk), of which I'm a trustee. The GRCT works through trusted partners who feed nearly 6,000 poor children in South Africa every school day. 99% of the GRCT's income goes directly to the point of need and it only costs £23 to feed a child for a year, so even a small donation can make a big difference.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for supporting the GRCT.
