Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit . I'm running the London BUPA 10k at the end of this month in memory of my mother-in-law, Carol Dearlove.  Many of you knew Carol and are aware of what a bright ray of sunshine she was. We really miss her. I'm also running on behalf of Carol's sister Fiona and my lovely mum Barbara, both of whom have been touched by this disease but have thankfully recovered due in no small part to the amazing work these charities do.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer's vest is a nice shade of pink so I know that somewhere up there, Carol will be watching and nodding in approval.

The London BUPA 10k is called a "race" but I'm afraid you won't see me up there challenging the Ethiopian runners unless I put thumb tacks in their shoes. If someone donates £10,000 I'll do it. But anything you can spare for this worthy cause will be much appreciated.

Lots of love,

Mark
