Story
Following on ftom the london marathon on 23rd april and ride London in may im now gearing up for the next part of my attempt to become first wheelchair user to get the london Classics medal in the same year
18 months ago I hadn't swam for near 30 years when I got injured due to the strain on my knee
I've taught myself how to do it and would have managed it last year if not for the passing of hm the Queen
I swim just using my arms in a sort of breaststroke movement as my shoulders are buggered so can't do crawl I'm not gonna break any records but hey ho
to show the challenge im undertaking
since 2012 nearly 500000 people have completed the london marathon but less than 1500 classics medals have been issued only 1 of them to a wheelchair user who took 7 years to get it
I realise times are tough but just a couple of quid will help go a long way
Thanks
Mark
