UPDATE…All done!!

On a beautiful sunny but breezy Sunday morning I joined the others to complete the Brighton Half Marathon. I think of all the other thousands with me who were all raising money for their own causes, what an inspiring day.

Thank you so much for everyone’s overwhelming generosity - over a thousand pounds raised that will really help us keep the station providing music to patients and staff 24/7.

Mid Downs Radio broadcasts to staff, patients and the community around Haywards Heath's Princess Royal Hospital. It is run by eager volunteers from a modest studio in the hospital, and raises funds through its charity to cover the day-to-day costs of running the radio station and providing outside broadcasts.

Like many charities, fundraising was hit during 2020 and 2021, with lockdowns hitting many of the organized events that we would typically attend.

So this year I am doing my little bit by joining all the other mad runners on Brighton seafront for the 2022 Brighton Half Marathon, hoping for sun, no wind and no rain!

All I am asking is the cost of a drink that maybe you never managed to spend over Christmas due to those "Plan B" restrictions.
