Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Next year I will be running the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 21st April.

As someone who took up running during lockdown as an excuse to get out the house and having previously not raced anything further than a 10k, I know I have an enormous task ahead! That’s said, it’s a task that I’m committed to and supporting the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is going to provide that extra motivation during cold winter training runs and when the going gets tough on the day!

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital receives over 276,000 patient visits every year. The charity focus on 3 areas - namely treatment, research and care. Creating as child-friendly an environment as possible and enabling families to stay together to support one another during what can be extremely challenging times, the work they do is inspiring. As a local lad and father myself and following the continued support my youngest son receives from the hospital, it’s a cause that’s really important to me.

So please dig deep and donate whatever you can. You will be supporting a fantastic cause!
