Recently two good friends have had daughters, both of whom I have taught, diagnosed with rare cancers. This news alone breaks my heart and you want nothing more than to show your love and support. In reality there is nothing I can do, not even a hug in these times. All we can do is show our support for these brave girls and their brave fight. 

I will be putting myself into the hurt locker and attempting 100km on Sunday 21st June, further than I’ve ever run before, it will be a 1km loop around Jubilee so boring as too! I think Father’s Day is a fitting choice as I couldn’t imagine how I’d cope if it was my little girl. 

Please dig deep and support this cause that helps so many young sufferers of this terrible disease. I know that seeing your donations will give the families a boost and your money will go so far to help others.
