In 2010 my Dad, Len Harrison was diagnosed with Renal Cancer. After the following 2 years we received the help of MacMillan Cancer Support.

It wasn't a nice experience to say the least to see someone very close go downhill so very quickly as a result towards the end (He also suffered from Parkinson's Disease). 

On Saturday 31 August 2013, I will be taking part in the Great London Swim in London's Millwall Dock. I am excited by this as I am new to Open Water swimming and this will be a great personal challenge.
