My late father developed Alzheimer's when he was in his 60's.  It robbed him of his speech, personality and humanity, rendering him an empty shell.  So many people are suffering from this heartless disease which steals their very being and leaves loved ones bereft.  A cure needs to be found and continued fundraising for further research will help to achieve a much needed breakthrough.
