2012 marks my tenth year of serious cycling and to mark this occasion I will be taking on this night time ride round the sites of London for the Mayhew Animal Home. Riding at night is never easy, the route is approx 60miles and I start at 11.30pm from Crystal Palace. The body clock says you should be sleeping, the roads will have pot holes, it could be raining and in London a few hill climbs in the early hours (Alexander Palace) so to get ready for this ride I have spent long hours on indoor bikes and workout sessions not to mention damp and miserable weekend rides under the grey clouds. Iam a big animal lover and have set a modest total to help the Mayhew in their animal work mainly in London. Animals also need our help and support - they cant speak for themselves so Iam hoping that you will make a donation as your way of supporting me and The Mayhew Home to look after our friends.
