Story
Thanks for visiting my page.
On the weekend of 14th October I am going to climb 3 of Wales’s largest mountains (the Welsh 3 peaks).
Starting at Snowdon (the largest mountain in the whole of England and Wales!) on the Saturday then climbing Cadair idris and Pen y fan on the Sunday.
UPDATE: due to weather conditions I will be completing Pen y Fan and Cadair Idris on Friday 13th and then travelling up to Snowdon to complete it on Saturday 14th.
I will be doing this with the help of my dad and our friend Ashley Edwards. It won’t be easy but I will give it my best effort.
In 2014, 9th May, 10 days before my 5th birthday, my Grampy (Clive Crandon) dropped dead whilst out walking with me, my brother and my sister. He died from heart disease and as a family we had no warning, it was a total shock.
I'm raising money in his memory for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
UPDATE: All done!! It was a hard challenge but really enjoyable. We had every type of weather especially on Snowdon (sun, rain, hail, lightning, thunder and lots of wind). Thank you to everyone who sponsored me it is really appreciated and kept me going through the challenge.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
