I don't often do this kind of thing and I doubt if I'll be making a habit of it, but I've been asked to run in the Liverpool Santa Dash on 4th Dec 2011 for what I think is a great cause.

Christian Aid quietly does a lot of great work around the world targetting poverty and social injustice.

I've set myself a target of £100 and I'm confident that I am such a popular guy that I could easily achieve that by getting 40 people to each sponsor me £2.50. If you're at all concerned that I might not be as popular as I think I am and you want to help me along by sponsoring more than that - thats perfectly OK :-) but really, I am that popular.
