On 10.10.10  I will be taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London.  Although I have completed a couple of half marathons before this is the first one that I have run in aid of a charity. Our friend Lou has been working for the Teenage Cancer Trust over the last few months and it has drawn my attention to the fantastic work that the charity does.

 

As you will know doubt be aware this is a charity which is devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. A key part of this work is the building of specialist units in NHS hospitals which give these young people the best chance of a positive outcome whilst being in a teenage environment.
