Story
On Friday 31st May 2019, my mum sadly passed away after battling leaukeamia. My mum spent her last days at the Marie Curie hospice after fighting the disease with such dignity and courage.
My family will always be grateful for the kindness, compassion, support and care shown to us by all the staff at the hospice at what was an incredibly hard time.
Marie Curie is a fantastic charity that relies heavily on fundraising and seeing first hand the support the charity gave my mum is the reason for the fundraising.
On Sunday 4th August, myself and 20 others will be running to raise money for Marie Curie. A Couch to 5k group have been on a 9 week programme with the aim of running the Barry Island 10k which for many will be the furthest they've ever run.
Please help by making a contribution and playing a part in helping Marie Curie continue with their wonderful work.
RIP Mum x
