The things you agree to do over a beer with a friend - a friend who'd nicknamed me 'Heart attack Mark' - I had somehow agreed to a 5k park run challenge...  

I showed up to that first 5k with no training and walked and painfully ran my way through every 41 minutes of it.  Over the next few years the challenges grew, to go faster, go further - on to 10k, then a grueling 20 mile cross country race aptly called The Grizzly in 2020.  But I have never done the marathon distance and running in the London Marathon was just the stuff of dreams.

The company I work for, TFT, has a long running (pun intended) relationship with LandAid and when they were fortunate enough to get a spot for the London Marathon, I was keen.  I found running and it changed my life, now I want to use this opportunity to raise money for LandAid who will in turn dramatically change the lives of young people - with the aim of ending all youth homelessness in the UK.

Please donate and help me raise £5k for LandAid. This money will support projects that provide beds to young people without a safe place to call home. Projects like East Street Mews in Bristol, in which my local TFT office is involved.
