We make lifesaving connections to help more patients survive and thrive
Story
25 years ago I had a life saving bone marrow transplant after suffering a rare disease known as aplastic anaemia. Without the help of the Anthony Nolan I would not be alive today. Unfortunately as I was so young at the age of 4 I cannot really remember much about the time I spent in hospital. All I can remember is the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles visiting me and some members of the Royal Family, where I got in trouble ever so slightly! I still have to visit the Royal Victoria Infirmary once a year for my MOT, and I will have to do that for the rest of my life. I would like to thank all my family and friends for making it this far in life.
