Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Last October, our 11yr old son Ben, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This obviously impacted on our family lifestyle and threw us into a steep learning curve to understand and live with this condition. Ten months later, Ben is now back to living life to the full, albeit in a very different way, and we have become those irritating shoppers who stand in the way reading every food label in supermarket aisles!
In September, along with many other Type 1 Diabetes families, we are going to take part in the JDRF "Climb 1 for Type 1" Snowdon Challenge.
JDRF exists to cure, treat and prevent Type 1 Diabetes and are the world's largest charitable funder of Type 1 research. By raising money, you are taking us one step closer to the cure for everyone living with this condition.
So on Saturday 18th September, Ben, Sam, Mark and Sue will climbing Snowdon for this worthy and now very personal cause. Please help us and donate to help us all find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
Thank you
