Story
We have been overwhelmed by the inundation of messages of love and support following Mark’s passing. The stories that have been shared are a true testament to how he positively affected so many people's lives. We are hugely grateful as a family for all of your kind words.
From all of the messages we have received, there is a common theme. Everyone who knew Mark would say how generous he was. During this period of reflection and celebration of Mark’s life, we would like to continue the theme of making a positive impact to those who need it most. The passing of a loved one is difficult for everyone involved, however there are some unsung heroes who we believe do not get the credit they deserve.
For those who wish to commemorate Mark’s life, we have decided to set up a JustGiving page for donations to be made to St Ann’s Hospice in Little Hulton. The staff and management team at the hospice work tirelessly in the most stressful circumstances to help make those who fall ill as comfortable as possible. They are outstanding people and have provided untold support to our family in Mark's last days.
With that in mind, we ask that you give generously to this worthy cause, and encourage you to share a story of your time with Mark (I know he'd think the ruder the better!).
Mark had a miraculous way of making a lasting impression on people, whether he had known them for years, or only met them once. It would be impossible for us to replicate the enormous reach that he managed in his 60 years of life, so please share this page far and wide to give all of those who knew him a chance to share and remember legend he was.
