The Timothy Pruss Memorial School (TPMS) provides a unique opportunity for the children of poor rural families to learn English, get better jobs and break out of poverty. It is named after the beloved son of Mary and the late Dr Tony Pruss.

Story

Please note this will now take place on the 13th April.

The Tim Pruss Memorial School in Tamil Nadu is supported by the Bede Griffiths Charitable Trust and is in desperate need of funds following the pandemic. In order to help out, on the 13th April 2022,  the chair of the Trust, his son Matthew and friend Allan, intend to climb the equivalent of the highest point in Tamil Nadu in Southern India. This is located at Doddabetta Peak and is 2,700 metres above sea level The  climb requires us to climb the 10 metre wall at Parthian Climbing Centre Reading 270 times. Please support us if you can! Further information about the Trust and the particularly the Tim Pruss Memorial school can be found at BGCT.org.uk.
