As I'm sure you may be aware from my previous event, On the 10th of June 2017 my Mum, Wendy Bateman was suddenly taken from me and my family from a Heart attack

Last year I was happy to say I absolutely smashed my target with the help of you wonderful people for British Heart Foundation.

This year I intend to raise funds again but this time for The Cat Protection.

The reason for this is my Mum was, as it states above a crazy cat lady having 6 at her peak. 

As such when she passed we ensured that a lot of the donated goods went to the Cat Protection League as it's what she would've wanted.

So once more I plan to do a 24 hour Gaming Marathon starting at midnight on the 10th of April and plan to keep going to midnight on the 11th.

I hope to have friends supporting and playing with me that day as it progresses, though probably not from midnight.

I have set an initial goal of £300 so any little bit will help. I believe the Cat Protection charity does a lot of good work re-homing unwanted and stray cats and feel this is good cause to go for this year and I know it's something Mum would've appreciated
