I am taking part in a ten mile run with a difference at Catterick barracks, N.Yorks on Sunday the 12th of September 2010.

The difference being I have to carry 35 pounds of kit in a rucksack and wear army boots to run the cross country course. I am going to try and complete it in the set time (1 hour 50 mins) for the regiment.

All proceeds will go to the Help for Heroes and Parachute Regiment charities who celebrate seventy years of British Paratroopers this year. I wanted to raise monies to help and support the bereaved families and for the treatment, rehabilitation and facilities for wounded soldiers.
