Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2019 our colleague Tommy Tucker-Smyth lost a short battle with lung disease. Tommy was a great friend, mentor and volunteer to those around him.

On Saturday 30th April 2022, I shall leading a team of Volunteer Police Cadets from our Dover Unit over a Marathon hike/walk. Starting outside Walmer Castle, we shall be passing various heritage locations, with our mid point being Capel Battery. This holds significance for us as we have volunteering at this site, helping to excavate sections of the old WW2 site. Our team are very proud to be (we believe) the only dedicated Cadets Heritage Team in England. We strive to work to standards set by our good friend and colleague, Tommy Tucker-Smyth. Being a former squaddie, we hope this is a fundraiser Tomm would be proud of. Full Cadet team will be confirmed in due course, but the more the merrier.
