At Leukaemia UK we believe that research holds the key and want to ensure were exploring as many possibilities as we can to save lives and improve quality of life for leukaemia patients.

Story

My wife (Grace) was diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia in January 2020. This last year has been incredibly tough for our family with Grace having many hospital admissions due to Sepsis and also weekly blood transfusions. She is an incredibly tough and resilient person, and since an operation to remove her spleen in September she hasn’t needed a blood transfusion nor been overnight in a hospital! We have a 4yr old and 1yr old now, and we all hope to have a much more positive 2023 as a family.

I am running this for her, in the hope that my small gesture gives her greater mental strength and raises some money for a great cause that may one day help others not have to experience our story.
