Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year was my first ever running event and I loved every minute of it! So much so that I've signed up for this year's run on the 25th October and I intend to run faster than last year and to beat at least 1hr 45m.
As well as aiming to enjoy every minute of this year's event, which will probably be held in the pouring rain again!, I'll also be running for the Joe Glover Trust and I would like to raise £300.
The Joe Glover Trust is a children's cancer charity based on the south coast caring and supporting children, young people and their families through cancer, with practical, emotional and financial support.
Using JustGiving is an absolute doddle and I hope you can find as much spare change as possible, down the back of the sofa, in your pockets, in the door pockets of your car (or anywhere else you can look!) to sponsor me with. If you're a taxpayer, and tick the Gift Aid box, every £10 you sponsor me for means that £11.92 goes straight to the charity.
I will add 10% to any amount I raise so the more you give the more I will add - and if that's not incentive enough I can always send you a photo of me looking like a drowned rat at the end of the race!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please, please, please dig deep and donate now!
