I am raising charity for Brainstrust, who are dedicated to improving clinical care for brain tumour sufferers and to providing co-ordinated support in their search for treatment.

 

Despite its devestating prevalence, brain tumour research receives less than 1% of cancer research spending in the UK.

 

In the UK, 16,000 people a year are diagnosed with a brain tumour!!

 

This summer, a good friend, and team mate has undergone serious neurological surgery due to an unforseen, underlying condition which thankfully seems to be on the mend.

 

I am running a half marathon in a bid to raise money for this worthy cause!
