Story

Adrian Savery, Mark Michel, Mark Nicholls, Matt Brown and Neil Dawson are currently training for a sponsored cycle ride from London to Paris in just 24 hours - that's a 200 mile journey which would typically be a 3-4-day cycle ride for many experienced cyclists, so attempting it in one day is a real challenge!

Leaving Big Ben at 5pm on the 5th April 2012 we aim to catch the 10:30pm Ferry from Newhaven which will arrive in Dieppe at 2:30am. From there we will set straight off into the dark through the plains of Northern France in an attempt to ride to the Champs-Elysees, Paris before 5pm. Fueled by baguettes, croissants and accountancy jokes we are sure to make it!

We would be hugely grateful to anyone willing to sponsor us in order to raise money for Matthews Friends, a fantastic cause that offers hope to children with uncontrolled epilepsy. No amount is too small as it will get us closer to achieving our target of £500.

The charity supports children all round the country offering them a special diet called a 'ketogenic diet' that can stop their epilepsy when conventional drugs have failed. A colleauege of our's daughter Niamh was having over 100 seizures a day by the age of 1 and this diet totally stopped them when drugs could not, so your money really will change children's lives!

Thank you for your support!
