Keech Hospice is a charitable organisation providing free specialist palliative and end-of-life care for adults and children in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes. With a mission to help people live well and die with dignity.

Story

I am very pleased and “extremely relieved” to confirm that I successfully completed (survived) my 13,000ft free fall sky dive on Sunday, they lied when I signed up; they told me it was only 10,000ft.

The experience is one that I shall never forget, the sensation of free falling at 120 miles an hour for 8,000ft or 1.7miles!!! is both exhilarating and quite terrifying. The shear noise of the air rushing past and the pressure on your face as you free fall is then replaced by near silence when the parachute finally opens and you start to float down. The sense of total relief that the chute has actually opened is absolute bliss.

I would like to personally and on behalf of Keech Hospice thank everybody for their generosity in sponsoring me and I’m really pleased to say that because of you I have managed to raise in excess of £6,000. JustGiving sends your donation straight to Keech Hospice Care and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.

Thank you very much for your kind donation and your support.

Kind Regards

Mark Pengelly
