Story
Marjorie Palmer passed away on 27 February 2012, having been diagnosed with cancer only two months earlier. She was a much loved wife, mother, mother in–law, grandma and friend, who was ‘kindness itself’ to others and she is sadly missed every day. As well as her church warden activities, flower arranging and legendary skills in ‘laundering and stain removal’ she was well known as a great lover of animals not only domestic Siamese cats but all creatures, great and small. She was lucky to live in the countryside in a beautiful part of Buckinghamshire, surrounded by spectacular wildlife. If any food was left over after a meal, she would always ask for a ‘doggy bag’ to feed the birds, foxes, badgers, hedgehogs, monkjac, deer and in fact any creature which came into the garden. Marjorie had a long time ambition to own a pair of donkeys, which sadly was never realised but over many years she was a loyal supporter of the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. In the last weeks of her illness Marjorie received palliative care from McMillan Cancer Care and Ian Rennie Nurses, we therefore invite you to donate to one of these great causes.
On behalf of the Palmer family, thank you kindly for your support.
