I will be taking part in a life changing experience and fly to Jordan in November for 7 days as part of this year's Deployment Programme with Human Relief Foundation in memory of my beloved brother Isam Rafiq. We have pledged to provide as much help, support and more importantly aid packs to Palestinian and Syrian refugees at their camps.

As you know, the world is experiencing an unprecedented refugee crisis as millions of refugees are forced from their homes and involuntarily displaced due to conflict, war, and poverty. Many of these people do not have sufficient food, clothing, sanitary or even basic shelter.

For this reason, we are asking you to help and donate as much as you can to support this amazing cause. We will personally be on the ground where the camps are based,helping those vulnerable and in need of the most support.

Every human being, regardless of their faith, has a natural right to food, clothing, and shelter, and as these refugees are struggling by the thousands, we owe it to them to give them as much as we can. So please give as much as you can. This is a zakat eligible project so you can give with the assurance of knowing that 100% of your zakat will be helping people in need.

The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said "Charity extinguishes sins, as water extinguishes fire"

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”  Surah Baqarah (2:261)
