Story
Yet again i'm taking part in the Adidas Women's Challenge, a 5km jaunt through Hyde Park, London, on Sunday 6 September.
The difference this year is that i'm actually going to run the entire 5km - not my slightly fast walking that i've done in the past! And i've been training for it too! So i know i'm going to do it. I'm on track for completing it in around 30 minutes.
As before, my chosen charity is Cancer Research UK. Years ago the mention of the word cancer made us instantly think the worst. Now, more and more people are becoming cancer survivors rather than victims, which is brilliant! But, with so many different types of cancer (my dad had it in his face and neck!), there's still so much work to be done. We've all been affected by it in some way, whether it's through a friend, family member or personally. I know times are hard for some of us, but even a pound can help make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my page, and giving your support.
