Our vision is a positive one. We believe the Greater Pittsburgh community can be vibrant and inclusive, providing hope, access and belonging, where all are prepared to succeed and lead with a sense of purpose. #ForOurFuture

Story

The work that is being done out of the Homewood YMCA while it remains closed to the public is the north star of the work of the Y. The Community Outreach & Impact department believes in working beyond the walls of our Ys. The team who works in and around Homewood make miracles happen daily for the people they serve. We provide youth programming, food, food stamps, camp, utility support, property tax/rent rebates, tax prep Medicaid, FAFSA support, among other support services. All of these programs are grant funded, the dollars donated will help our staff to be able to do more and help more people. #HumansHelpingHumans #Homewood #PeopleFirst

About the charity

Every day we work to ensure kids have a safe place to go and food to eat, that older adults have a place to socialize, stay active and not be negatively impacted by isolation and loneliness, that everyone in our community has access to a place where they can connect and stay healthy.
