We are participating in the Race for Life on the 7th July 2019 to raise money for cancer research. Our colleague and very good friend, Teresa, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, followed by our Headteacher’s wife, Helen, a couple of weeks later. Our receptionist, Janet, was diagnosed with the very same thing last year. Kayleigh, one of our teachers, was also diagnosed with cervical cancer straight after her wedding. Thanks to treatment, Kayleigh has been given the all clear, and now has gorgeous 7 month old twins! You can see, as a school, it is very close to our hearts. I know each and every person reading this post will have been touched by cancer in some way. So please, help us raise money to continue to battle this awful disease. No amount is too small and we truly appreciate it.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work and helps to save lives.
