Millions of people face daily threats to their lives and livelihoods from climate-related emergencies. BBC Media Action uses communication for good - to help the poorest people who are often hit hardest to survive, cope and adapt.

Story

Marion and John are walking 70k on the South Downs Way to celebrate our 70th birthdays.

We are supporting BBC Media Action, because we know that communication is a key form of support in times of crisis, as well as a vital part of growing democracy.

BBC Media Action is a charity that works on international development. They work in the knowledge that change happens when people have access to reliable, timely and useful information and the opportunity to talk about it. They work in some of the most fragile and divided societies in the world like Bangladesh and amongst displaced people like the Rohingya refugees.
