Story
In memory of my Dad I am supporting The Salvation Army’s International Development Team. Walking through London was a reminder of the many happy visits we have paid to the capital together - museums, churches, parks, gardens, concerts and especially art galleries. Please take a minute to read about what the team do and how your donation will help... “Our mission is to equip, empower and enable communities around the world to defeat poverty and injustice, and to work with them to build a better life and future. We engage people to comprehend injustice and take action to restore our world as a place where justice, dignity and equality are a reality for all people. Our international work is divided into six themes: Anti-Trafficking, Clean Water, Emergency Response, Food Security, Gender Justice, and Income Generation. We work alongside communities to support local projects in each of these areas.£10 could provide a food parcel for a family following an emergency£20 could provide care and support to a survivor of human trafficking£30 could help to train farmers to make the best use of their land£35 could provide group therapy for women who have or are experiencing domestic violence£40 could provide the materials needed to teach a group of people to read£50 could give a family clean water for life.” Thank you for supporting!
