As you may well know I lost my father in 2011. I ran the Cardiff Half marathon back in 2009 in support of Goldings Old boys (Barnardos before it was called Barnardos, back when Dr Barnardos actually set up the foundation). I felt honoured to be able to do this while he was here as a belated thanks to everyone who took care of him when he was at his most vulnerable as a child.

This time round will be in memory of the man he was and all he made me believe about myself. He was my inspiration and since his death I've suffered numerous health problems( including Alpoecia) and suffered an intense depression.

I'm imploring you to please show me you have faith in me and give me a motivational kick up the bottom (as he would have done) by donating towards my total.

I had thrown in the towel the other day due to hitting another dip in the emotional road, but I know if he was here he would have told me to get on with it and show them just what I can do. I'm shitting bricks actually. My training has only recently started and there have been many times I've wanted to quit but being stubborn I;ve forced myself do create this page.

Its happening. I am crapping myself. PLEASE even if you can only afford a pound, I would be ever so grateful.
