We are fundraising for cancer patients to have something nice to look forward to.
Story
It is my first official run, and I decided to combine fun with a good cause. Setting up a fundraising page brings me hope that I can leave a footprint in someone’s life, share with them my drop of happiness and bring a little joy… even if it is just for a moment. At the end of the day, our life is made up of those little moments that make it one great big adventure.
Anytime you use the Lewis Foundation services, you are supporting their vision thatno one goes through cancer alone.
At The Lewis Foundation they source, package and hand deliver gift packs for free to adult cancer patients in hospitals in the Midlands and the community weekly. These are items that patients might find difficult to buy themselves or simply cannot afford – and that brings people happiness and comfort at a difficult time. For many people in hospital and the community, their volunteers are their only regular visitors. They currently provide over 2000 gifts per month to 17 hospitals. People can pick a gift of their choice for free from their gift list.

The Lewis Foundation on a weekly basis provides free gift packs to adults receiving cancer treatment in hospital. The gift packs range from puzzle books, care packs and portable radios. The aim is to take people's mind off thinking about cancer and give people something nice to look forward to.
