Fundraising for Better Pathways
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Those that know me well know that I don't do things like this. I'm not a fitness fanatic nor even slightly fit so 10 miles will definitely be a challenge!!
Yet I felt compelled to do this in memory of my brother Nigel Struthers whom we lost to suicide in 2011.
It will be 6 years on the 3rd June.
Never in a million years did we think our family would be affected in this way, yet it happened and we live every day with the legacy and only his memory - we miss him so much and not a day goes by we don't think of him.
It is very important that we talk about suicide....
We never hid it, in fact we have chosen as a family to be very open and tackle the stigma head on.
We need to be very clear that it's preventable with the right help and support and people get better. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
So I need you to sponsor me (and my wonderful friend Ruth who is walking with me!!!!) So that the charity CLASP can keep on helping.
